I want to thank everyone who stops in and checks us out. I especially want to thank the Google Spider. That little bug comes by 5 to 7 times a day to check us out. That should be proof to anyone that is hanging out here how important it is to have fresh and relavent content posted on your site. We are so new that we don’t have a page rank yet. But just by watching the spider crawls of this site, we should be getting a pretty good page rank when the next rankings comes out.

We are working on building back links, but trying to do it in a smart fashion and not just accepting any old link. Google spider is not the only visits we are getting. There are about 10 different bots coming here daily multiple times and checking us out.

I will be putting up a new website tomorrow most likely that will be a twist on affiliate marketing. We are going to try and setup a weightloss site promoting another marketer’s product, but to sweeten the deal, we will be giving away a fascinating weightloss story about a man that was doomed to die, until he found a diet that saved his life.

So we will see how things work out. We will use the new software to promote the new site and see how or if we can make money with it.

I’ve got my feet wet with the new program. It’s taking me a bit to get together as I’m not the most tech savy guy. But it’s not really that hard, just have to not have a case of ADD. I wrote an article om weight loss and have submitted it to several social sites and have used the program to bookmark this blog. So we will see how things go,
If you want the squidoo secrets report grab it soon cause I’m taking it down in a couple of days. I will keep working with the software cause I have a free 7 days test drive and want to get the most out of it.
One of the most difficult things for most people to over come seems to be deciding what niche they want to work in and make money. Part of this program is a nich finding module based on keyword selection. It searches the www and then gives you recommendations as to what the chances are to make it in that niche. Tells you to forget it…or it’s a very doable thing…or even well it might be hard. So I’m working with it right now. It’s a great tool.
There just doesn’t seem to be very many niches that aren’t already swamped. But we’ll see what I can find. Of course it needs to be something I’m interested in, so that does cut down a lot of possibilities.

In the beginning we said that we would be doing product reviews along with all sorts of things that have to do with Internet Marketing. I stumbled upon a brand new article submission software product that I’m test driving for a week. It’s not fair to call it just an article submission program as it does a few other things also.

So far I spent last night setting up the profiles that I needed to, to get it ready to run. I will write an article today and then start using the software tonight. I will be very interested in how it works. I’ll let you know tomorrow how it seemed to perform, assuming I did everything right. Not sure yet what to write about, but I’m sure I’ll figure something out.

The giant giveaway is going well. A steady stream of people are downloading our poker book gift. So that’s been a cool thing. The giveaway lasts for about 5 days I believe. Again the Giveaway is being put on by marketer Reed Floren. He does a great job on the net when it comes to promoting ideas and programs.

The giant giveaway is going great. I have had quite a few people download my poker book the first day. Will be interesting to see how many download it. In the spirit of giving things away I came across a guy giving away a free report on Squido lens. If you don’t know about Squido, it’s one of the social networking sites, like MySpace, Facebook and the others that exist.

I said we’d be doing all sorts of things here in the marketing area. I’m ready to test first program. But first let me tell you about my call with the ‘Mentoring for Free’ guy. Michael Dloughy. It was a real delight to talk to him. He seems to be an amazing guy with a ton of knowledge. His approach is to let people know what they should be looking for in a network marketing company. He won’t mention any company programs in his mentoring.
It’s up to you to do your own due dilligence. But he sure gives you a lot to think about, and lays out just what you should look for, before you jump in to a Network Marketing program. I’ll cover more later, becuase I will be taking to him quite a bit more soon.
So now it’s time to test a program that I found, that seems to offer just what a newbie needs, and at the same time can be used by people who have marketed online for sometime.

I spoke today with a couple of people that are connected with the mentoring for free program. Very nice people. They had me listen to 3 audios that were really good. Now They are scheduling a call for me with the head of the program. The call should take place in the next 3 days. I will report back on how that went and what this seems to be all about.

But for right now, we are just a couple of days away from Reed Floren’s big giveaway. As you know we are putting up an ebook on poker as our gift. There are 1,000 contributors, so this event is going to be huge.

If you have been on the net for any length of time, and requsted information from anyone, then you know how quickly your mailbox can fill up. I really don’t mind all the emails I get on a daily basis. And believe me I get tons. But there is so much to choose from.

You no more than find a program or two you would like to get involved with maybe, or one that strikes your interest and before you can move on them, you find something even more interesting within minutes or hours or days. There is no shortage of programs to get involved with at any one time. I should know, my inbox today had 212 messages waiting. Almost everyone of them an offer of some kind to make money on the internet.

So how are you suppose to make a decision on what to do? Brother, if I had that answer I would be a Millionaire instead of a hundredaire. One thing that I realized from reading the information in the book I spoke about last time, is that it’s not the program that is necessarily the important factor. It’s more of who you will be working with….which mentor essentially.

I am firmly of the belief now that having a mentor is very important. It’s a surety that you will find charlatans and good guys both floating around the internet. So I am looking for some suggestions from anyone who might have some great advice as how to accomplish this. I’m going to call a guy associated with the book I read the other night about mentoring for free. Hopefully I will get the scoop tomorrow if I can catch him on the phone. I’ll report back what I get out of our conversation.

The internet is loaded with landmines. There is no doubt about it. I just hope my steel soled shoes will protect me for a little longer.

It’s amazing what you can find surfing the internet. And who you can find.  Michael Dlouhy is the name of a guy that I came across yesterday and so I looked over his information. He is a Network Marketer that does MLM training for free. No matter what company you are with, he says he’ll train you for free. He sounds like he is a really neat guy.

He and his wife work together and have evidentally become very successful in MLM marketing. He has a great outlook based on his ebook. It was quite an eye opener for me. Just from reading the book I discovered a couple of things I have been doing wrong. So I hope to be in touch with him tomorrow for some live training.

I’ll post after the training is over, how things went and what I thought of the training. One thing I really liked is the fact that there is no recruiting done or allowed during the trainings. no individual comapnies are allowed to be mentioned. Finally someone that seems to be looking out for the people.

I don’t know if you are aware of it or not, but the latest craze in Internet Marketing is the giant giveaway. It’s basicaly where internet marketers put up free gifts, be it e-books, software, reports or whatever. There tends to be about 15 to 20 pages of stuff available during these giveaways.

I was invited to participate in one coming up in a week. In fact it starts on Friday June 27th and goes til the 4th of July I believe. Right now I don’t have any software I want to put up, but I do have an e-book on Poker that my brother has the rights to, so we are putting it up as a free gift.

It’s not quite what I wanted to do, but the book is a damn good poker book. And the author is a friend of my brother’s and he said go for it. You see, Jack the author of the book just recieved a new heart 2 months ago and he is happy to be alive. So he is pretty easy to persuade now when it comes to doing goods things for people.

He is a 20 year poker pro. And believe me when I say he knows what he is talking about it’s no Bull. Anyway it should be fun to see how many people choose to download the book for free. The giveaway is being put on by well known Reed Florin. So I can’t wait to see how it all goes. I forgot what the name and web address is, but I will get it in the next day or so.

I hope everyone and anyone who reads this blog will go there and at least check it out. I have to get as many referrals as I can to keep my product up for the whole week. But it is free so that shouldn’t be too big a problem, I wouldn’t think.
