The title might not be what you are expecting. Kamma Sutra is not going to be discussed here, although it might bring more readers. What I’m talking about is touching someone in a way that makes them feel. And feel deeply. If not deeply, then as deeply as possible.

It’s easy to make someone feel deeply in a negative manner….just be rude, call them a bad name….cuss at them, insult them…their family or heritage. Touching someone in that manner takes absolutely no effort. And is not even worth talking about actually.

I’m talking about in a positive way..in a way that makes a person move. Either physically or emotionally. Should it move them physically, then it should be a nudge toward a positive goal or direction. You do that by setting yourself aside and zero in on the other person. And not in a superficial way. But reach out and offer a hand up, a kind word…..and act totally unexpected.

You do that, and if in person, your fellow  man/woman will be able to see it in your eyes. Try as you might, you just can not hide your soul…your eyes are the soul’s doorway. But what does that have to do with Internet Marketing. And how can someone see your eyes on the Internet?

Quick answer is thru the use of a webcam. But that’s not what this is about either. This post is about touching someone blindly over the net and how you do that. You accomplish that by appropriate salutations in your first contact. And then over time, make sure you live up to everything that you say you are going to do. Be generous in your actions and your words. Humble in your attitude and gracious in your dealings.

It takes a fair amount of time to earn someone’s respect and trust and just a minute to destroy it. I know I’ve been on both ends. I’ve been let down and have on the other hand, I have made promises that I could not live up to as I expected. I let down a group of investors after I came down with Congestive Heart Failure and remamined sick for two years.

As a result, I lost contact with almost everyone I had established a relationship with in the investment world. I have never been able to recover those relationships as people never sit still. They all moved on and so it’s a matter of moving on myself.  While my health condition  was at the root of my troubles, I could have done something to retain  those relationships……but I didn’t. I was so caught up in my own world, that when I was  in a position to reach out to people, I didn’t.

So if you are marketing anything on the Internet, regardless what may come along, find time to reach out to those that you have a relationship with and you will be surprised how much people will step up and be there for you.

We talk about all sorts of marketing subjects here and one that we have not covered is security. So I thought I’d take a minute and discuss Internet security. It really is very important even though some give very little thought about it.

The Internet should be a fun place to relax, learn new things, and meet new people. Though you can do all of those things, there are many other things going on that can harm you. It’s sad that this is the case, but it is what it is. There are some folks out there that would rather sit around and try to scam you out of your money rather than getting a real job, and you really have to watch what you are doing. You also have to consider what your kids are going online, as they are more trusting when it comes to seemingly nice strangers. You must think about Internet and security when you have access in your home.

One of the most common places to have problems with Internet Marketing and security is in email. There are some scams that have been around for a very long time, and many of them, sadly, still work. These have become even more complicated lately, and even the smartest and most web savvy of people can get sucked in. There is one that claims you have to sign into eBay to answer a dispute, and because so many use eBay, this is one that can get them. When you go to log in on the page that comes up, you have just given away your information to someone else. When it comes to Internet and security in these matters, you always type in the page in a new browser. Never, ever click on a link in an email.

Internet and security also means watching where you give out personal information. If you can help it, you should never do this anywhere. If at all possible, keep your last name a mystery, and never, ever give out your phone number when you have any reason to doubt anyone. This is never a wise thing to do on any type of public site. You also have to teach your children about how easy it is for someone to track them down with just a few bits of information that they may unwittingly put on a web page or tell to someone via instant messenger. It can be hard to tell what is real and what is not real when it comes to dealing with others online. For the sake of using the Internet and security measures, you should do your best to use your common sense, and perhaps even find software packages that are made for Internet and security issues. If it seems to good to be true, it is. No one is giving you money for nothing, and strangers from overseas are just that: strangers. You haven’t won a lottery you never entered, and you aren’t getting a thousand dollars to be a secret shopper. Good things do happen to people, but none of these things are real, well may be you should try Internet Marketing for a change.

After the 30 day challenge and doing some research on my own, I have just about finished a blog setup package. It will allow a marketer to put up a blog and support it in a way that will get it ranked in Google very quickly. The package will include a flow chart describing the steps to be taken to make the most out of their niche blog. Also included will be tools to help the blogger optimize their blog, without having to sign up with a monthly service to acquire the desired results.

As I mentioned just recently, my new horse race handicapping blog was ranked in Google within 2 hours at #81 and #82 out of a possible 14,800 competing pages. Not bad, and as time continues, with my system, I will hit the first page before you know it.

I will announce the availability of the package as soon as it’s finished and ready to go. I suspect the cost will be around $49. That will be a one time fee. No recurring charges. I’m pretty excited about what the possibilities will be for anyone that takes advantage of the package.

You may remember the test we did by building our own review site and matched it up with the Google Nemesis program. I spent lest than $40 to get the site up and the cost for G. Nemesis was $97 or $67 a month. I can’t remember. They both returned the same results, which were terrible. I have very little faith and belief in review sites as they are nothing more than joint venture partners promoting programs and are not really site offering an honest review.

Home again and ready to get back to our blogging efforts. Heard from WordPress Direct, but still need more information. So I will respond one more time and then that will be it. If I don’t get some satisfaction this time, then to heck with them and I’ll just go it alone. But won’t really be alone because we will be taking advantage of the Immediate Edge program run by Ed Dale and Dan Raine.

It looks very kool and I am very excited to see how we do in Google ranking.

This is off subject, but as you know I was in Las Vegas the last week. I was going to go to O. J’s trial but just couldn’t get up in time to go and so watched it on tv. I just saw where he was convicted on all counts. I am absolutely amazed. Not because I thought he was innocent, but because he has slipped out of everything he has been charged with in the past.

It will be really interesting to see what his sentence turns out to be. I do feel a bit sorry for C. J. Stewart. I don’t think he would have been convicted of everything the same as O. J. if he had been severed and allowed his own trial.

I thought it would never happen. Yep…I finally found a niche to go back through 30 Day Challenge with and redo the process. This time it should go much faster. I’m really excited about this niche. I was very hesitant at first, but then realized that I needed to do something that I really like and will be enthusiastic about when it’s time to blog.

One reason why I was hesitant is that the niche requires reaching out to a group of people that on the whole contain very sophisticated customers and at the same time, contain very unsophisticated potential customers. Where that becomes a problem is that members of the first group are very reluctant to buy and have an extremely critical eye when reviewing a product. You have to really impress them. And they are not prone to buy into a service as much as they might be interested in some software.

The second group is even harder to reach because of their lack of sophistication. Especially when it comes to computer information and access. These potential customers are most inclined to pay for a service, but in a paper format that is available in their local area. But who knows, maybe there is more of a market than I think. The only way to find out is just do it….right?

Okay, enough stalling. The niche I have settled on is ….’drum roll please’……Horse Race Handicapping!  I love horse racing. It is truly the ‘Sport of Kings’ and a magnificent experience when standing track side at the finish line and watch the horses come thundering down the stretch.  The sound of hooves pounding the track…the smell….all the cheering and yelling from the crowd….it really can be an intoxicating experience.

So the idea is to setup a Horse Race Handicapping Blog that will discuss all things horsey basically, and….offer up free horse picks. I will do that for some time. It will be necessary to prove that the picks offered will be profitable and worth paying for down the road. I will be using software that I have written and is solely available to me. If nothing else, it will be a lot of fun. To keep it operating as it’s own entity, I will operate it using a pseudonym.

Once I get it up and running, I will post the URL and we’ll see how it goes.

Forgive my French, but I am at a loss and just don’t know what to do. I went through day 26-27-28 of the 30 Day Challenge and there is really nothing to report. Just some fine tuning for our blog for our chosen keyword phrase. As you may remember, I chose Concert Promotions as my phrase. I picked it as I discovered the 30 day the night before it was to start. So I grasped at straws and ended up with my choice.

Problem is, the search results are very low and as a result the traffic is very light. I have ranked very well for the keyword phrase on Google, but still not enough traffic to even make a difference. Based on the 30 day guidelines, I need to find a different niche. And that is where the rub comes in……I can not find a niche that meets of even comes close to the parameters set out in the 30 day.

I have used SEObook keyword tool and used ‘Market Samurai’ which is a very cool tool to look for a new niche that I can redo.  But I just can’t  for the life of me, find a good niche.  I need one that I’d be interested in, I know that, but it just isn’t happening for me.

I will keep looking, but I am getting very frustrated. My interests lie in the areas of….Horse Race Handicapping…..Poker….Computer programming…….golf….Internet marketing…..Pets (especially dogs). Harley Davidson motorcycles and movies are a couple more areas of interest. So far I haven’t been able to find anything in connection to these subjects that I can use. Maybe I’m just an Internet Dumbass, I don’t know.

Since I have such a mental dead zone, I have decided to put off any shot at Network Marketing for a while. I have come across some information about building Squidoo lenses and selling them. I may try and build one and see if I can sell it. I’ll let you know if that happens. If anyone has a niche idea that I can use for the 30 day, I’d appreciate hearing from you. If it works out, I will even share the profit with you.

You know you have arrived when the spammers find you. I have been getting a few comments as you have seen I’m sure. But just the last couple of days I have started getting 20 to 25 comments…all from spammers with outlandish comments concerning drugs from outside the United States and a bunch of other stuff I won’t even mention. While it only takes a minute to zap them, it’s a bit annoying to say the least.

I didn’t make it to day 15 lesson on the 30 day challenge site last night, as I was just too tired. Well I didn’t get it done today either. Which also means I haven’t done day 16 either. I hope to get some rest tonight and get both lessons done tomorrow.

As I mentioned yesterday, my 30 day challenge niche is ‘Concert Promotions‘ and Google had ranked me as high as #14 which is on the 2nd page. I checked this morning and I was ranked #4 on the first page. Man was that cool. But nothing ever remains the same so tonight we have fallen back to #17…still 2nd page, but we will have to get some more stuff going and add things to the blog and still build some more links to the blog to get us back up there again.

I have a lead generating program I’m looking at now and may have it up and running by tomorrow. If I do, then you’ll see how that works. You’ll see it here. Better hit the sack now if I’m going to get anything done tomorrow.

This will be short tonight as i don’t feel good. I did want to introduce you to the ultimate cash gifting program. Now a lot of people look down on this sort of activity on the Internet. They think they are scams and I have until now been of like mind.

The question is why are you here? What do you hope to get out of this site? Two very important questions. If you don’t leave comments or communicate with me, I’m left to fly by the seat of my pants. I’m prepared to do that if need be. But if there is any information you would like, there is only one way for me to know, and that’s if you tell me. So leave some comments and tell me what we are missing or if there is something you’d like me to research or look into.

I think by now you know my feelings about product review sites and their ability to market products. If not then listen up…..I think they are a complete waste of time. Google Nemesis, the new big wave in the internet community has or is a bust as far as I’m concerned. Our three week test had over 200 visitors to the Nemesis site and not one conversion. No Sales. So what does that tell you. Our home grown review site didn’t do any better, although it was up for less time…still no sales. I will be discontinuing those in the next few days.

Over the next day or two I will be taking down the links section on the front page and cleaning those up as well. They were put their essentially as window dressing. I will pare them down and put up a couple of links to programs that I am actually getting some members to join. More later on that.

Today marks day two the of 30 day challenge. I’m about to view the videos and study the material. The first day videos were good and had some specific information. Enough that I have switched browsers to one that is called ‘Flock’….it is a more web 2.0 friendly browser.

Our traffic here is growing which I’m glad to see. Again I hope you are getting some benefit to being here. Again if you are a marketer and you understand the need to have article marketing a part of your arsenal, then you really need to take a look at Instant Article Wizard Pro software. I have the link to it on one of the other pages. It will speed up your article production immensely. I wouldn’t market without it…it’s that important….That’s if you value your time.

I will do a program review tomorrow of what I consider one of the best money making opportunities on the net. It’s OBA and I’ll make that more clear tomorrow. Anyway the only way I can be sure that I deliver value here is if you let me know what you want to see and know. Or at least looked into. I’d appreciate it if you’d spread the word about our site as much as possible. The more people we get here and join our community the more value we are likely to get out of it. That includes me, since what you bring to the table may not be something that I’d stumble upon on my own.
